Why do alarms go off?
So we were talking with the German girl who works at the hostel (Mandy) and she asked this very important American question. When a light goes OFF it goes dark, when you turn the tv OFF it goes off, but when an alarm goes OFF it begins to ring?! I thought this was a very good question! I'm stumped! Gotta love the American language :)
